The last time Pluto was in Capricorn, the United States of America was founded. This time around, Pluto in Capricorn is tearing it apart.

In many ways, Pluto is like Superman. In theory, Superman just hangs out in that frosty little fortress, waiting for us to do something pathetic so he can swoop down and get his exercise for the day.
If Superman was a Capricorn, he’d be called The Reaper.
Pluto entering the sign Capricorn says “enough”. When it transited through Sagittarius, we got mixed up in a war that at its core is more religious than anything else. Our greed (especially financial, since Pluto can be a financial planet too) hit the roof, as Sagittarius is the sign of greed and excess and Pluto is extremes, our politicians went freaking nuts.
But enough is enough, party time is over. I find it interesting how Pluto rules Scorpio and the 8th house, both connected with banks, loans, mortgage, and debt. Guess what was the first to go? Goodbyeeeee financial sector! Everyone who was doing something they shouldn’t have, got their butts (excuse my Latvian) handed to them, and in a big way!
Capricorn also represents big business, government and the CEO of a company. The ultimate authority. It’s Pluto’s job to tear down walls, bomb the place, strip us of everything we’ve got, and leave us high and dry to pick up the pieces. If we survive, we’ve learned a big lesson- and we’ll never do it again. If we don’t, well, we don’t.
One can only hope that during the next 19 years, these idiots running the country and big business will learn to take the high road (Has Pluto in Sag taught them NOTHING?), and maybe we can get this country back to something worth being proud of, instead of just a freak show full of fat cats and self-righteous prostitutes.
